What we collect

Changing Image 20/20 is designed around privacy. Your display name, journey stage, theme, last reading location, journal entries, and exercise answers (including custom emotions and Victory Vault entries) are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. An account is optional. If you create one, your email address and sign-in information are processed to manage your account. Email and password, Google, and Apple sign-in options are offered.

Optional account sync

Sync stores a copy of your saved reader content with Lovable Cloud so you can continue on other devices. Access through the app is restricted to your signed-in account; there are no public reader profiles. If a device already has saved reader content, you are asked whether to combine it with your account or keep it on that device only. A device with no saved reader content connects automatically when you sign in. You can stop syncing that device in Your Space. Offline edits stay on your device and sync when you reconnect while signed in with sync enabled. When copies differ, the newest edit to each item is kept.

What we don't do

We do not require an account, publish or sell your reflections, or build advertising profiles. We do not ask for medical records, but anything you choose to write in your journal or answers is stored with your reader content, including health information you volunteer. This experience supports reflection and coaching — it does not diagnose, treat, or advise on medical care. Cloud hosting and sign-in services process information needed to provide account and sync features; this is not a promise that data never leaves your device when you use those features.

Your control

From Your Space you can export your data, stop syncing a device, sign out and remove your data from a device, or permanently delete your account and everything synced to it. "Delete all my data" removes this device's reader content and also requests deletion of your account's synced copy when sync is enabled. Other devices still holding a copy may sync it back, so remove those copies too or delete your account. Stopping sync or signing out alone does not delete existing local or cloud copies. Deleting your account does not remove copies already saved on your devices or exported files. Clearing your browser's site data removes the copy on that device only. Keep exported files safe, especially on shared devices.
